About The 5Ws Store

The 5Ws Store offers physical and digital products designed to encourage creativity, questioning, writing, learning, and idea development.

Products may include plush toys, educational and creative materials, printable activities, digital downloads, books, and related products.

Product offerings, designs, pricing, and availability may change from time to time.

The 5Ws Store currently offers products for sale within the United States only, unless otherwise expressly stated.

Product Safety

5Ws, LLC takes the safety of physical products offered through The 5Ws Store seriously.

Physical products intended for children will not be offered for sale until applicable product testing, certification, labeling, and other safety requirements applicable to the product have been addressed.

The Writer's UnBlock™ plush toy is identified as All Ages, consistent with its final product testing and safety documentation.

Applicable third-party testing and compliance documentation are completed or obtained before the product is offered for sale.

Nothing on The 5Ws Store should be interpreted as representing that a product has been approved by a governmental agency unless such approval has actually been issued and is expressly stated.

Customers should follow all product labels, care instructions, warnings, safety information, and other instructions supplied with or displayed for a product.

Digital Products and Printable Materials

The 5Ws Store may offer downloadable activities, worksheets, printables, creative resources, educational materials, and other digital products.

Unless different license terms are stated on the applicable product page or within the digital product itself, purchasing a digital product grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for:

  • personal or household use; or

  • use by one educator within a single classroom or equivalent instructional group.

A single-classroom license permits one educator to reproduce or distribute the material as reasonably necessary for use with that educator's own students.

The license does not permit school-wide, department-wide, district-wide, organization-wide, multi-teacher, or other shared institutional use unless expressly authorized.

Another educator who wishes to use the material independently with their own classroom should obtain a separate applicable license unless broader rights are expressly provided.

Customers may print, write on, resize, cut, annotate, or otherwise adapt digital materials as reasonably necessary for their permitted personal, household, or classroom use.

Students may use, complete, retain, and take home copies properly provided to them as part of authorized classroom use.

An educator may make materials available through a password-protected or access-restricted classroom or learning-management platform when access is limited to that educator's applicable students.

Digital products may not be:

  • resold or offered for resale;

  • sublicensed;

  • redistributed outside the permitted license;

  • shared with other educators for independent classroom use;

  • posted on publicly accessible websites, repositories, shared drives, social-media accounts, or file-sharing services;

  • reproduced or modified for commercial sale or distribution;

  • incorporated into another product offered for sale;

  • used to create a substantially derivative competing commercial product;

  • uploaded to commercial content libraries or mass datasets for redistribution;

  • used for commercial artificial-intelligence model training, machine-learning dataset development, or similar mass-ingestion purposes; or

  • used in a manner that deliberately removes or obscures proprietary notices,

except where expressly authorized by 5Ws, LLC or permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these restrictions is intended to prohibit ordinary personal use of lawful technology tools in connection with an otherwise permitted use.

Specific license terms included with a digital product or stated on its product page may provide additional permissions or restrictions. When product-specific license terms are provided, those terms govern that product.

Purchase or download of a digital product does not transfer ownership of its underlying artwork, text, graphics, designs, trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, original content appearing through The 5Ws Store, including text, product names, graphics, illustrations, designs, downloadable materials, photographs, logos, creative materials, product artwork, and other proprietary content, is owned by or licensed to 5Ws, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5Ws™ and The Writer's UnBlock™ are trademarks claimed by 5Ws, LLC. Applications seeking federal registration of these marks are currently pending with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Use of the ™ symbol signifies a claim of trademark rights and does not represent that a mark has received federal registration.

The ® symbol will be used only if and when a mark receives federal registration and only in connection with goods or services covered by that registration.

Nothing on The 5Ws Store grants any license or right to use a trademark, trade name, logo, copyrighted work, product artwork, digital material, photograph, illustration, or other proprietary content of 5Ws, LLC except as expressly authorized.

Website and Marketing Images

The 5Ws Store may use photography, illustrations, digitally created imagery, composited imagery, renderings, enhanced imagery, and artificial-intelligence-generated imagery for illustrative, explanatory, and marketing purposes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, people appearing in fictional, illustrative, rendered, or AI-generated imagery should not be understood to be actual customers, purchasers, employees, product testers, or endorsers of 5Ws, LLC.

We work to ensure that visual materials fairly represent relevant product characteristics. Customers should also consult applicable product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, materials, labels, warnings, and other product-specific information when making a purchasing decision.

Reasonable variations may include minor differences in:
