What is The Writer’s UnBlock™?
The Writer’s UnBlock™ is a soft, six-sided plush prompt cube featuring the questions Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How.
It provides a simple, tactile way to begin a story, explore an idea, encourage conversation, or work through a creative block.
How do I use it?
Roll the cube, toss it, or choose a side. Ask the question shown, then write, talk, imagine, brainstorm, or build from your answer.
You can use one question as a quick prompt or work through all six to develop a more complete story or idea.
Is there a correct way to use it?
No. The Writer’s UnBlock™ is intentionally open-ended.
Use it independently, with a partner, or as part of a larger group. Adapt the questions to the age, activity, setting, or subject.
Who is it for?
The Writer’s UnBlock™ is age-graded for All Ages.
It can be used by children, families, students, teachers, librarians, writers, teams, and other curious minds. Younger users may benefit from an adult reading or expanding upon the prompts with them.
How large is the cube?
The Writer’s UnBlock™ measures approximately 7 × 7 × 7 inches when relaxed. Because it is a soft plush product, dimensions may vary slightly and the cube can compress during handling or shipping.
Will shipping leave wrinkles or flatten the cube?
To make shipping more efficient, The Writer’s UnBlock™ may be gently compressed during transit. Temporary wrinkles, creases, or a slightly flattened shape can be normal. After unpacking, gently reshape the cube and allow a few days for the plush to relax and regain its shape.
What material is it made from?
The cube is made with soft velboa plush fabric and embroidered lettering. Refer to the sewn-in product label for applicable care instructions.
Will every cube look exactly the same?
Because The Writer’s UnBlock™ is a soft, sewn product, minor variations may occur in its shape, seams, embroidery, tags, color placement, or finishing details.
These natural production variations do not change the cube’s intended function.
Product Safety
Has The Writer’s UnBlock™ been safety tested?
Yes. The Writer’s UnBlock™ has been tested by a third-party laboratory accepted by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission for applicable children’s product requirements.
A Children’s Product Certificate has been issued based on the test results.
Can retailers or institutions request safety documentation?
Yes. Applicable product safety and compliance documentation is available to qualified retailers, distributors, schools, libraries, and institutional buyers upon request.

Orders
Can I change or cancel a regular order?
Contact us as soon as possible. We will try to accommodate changes or cancellations before fulfillment, but changes cannot be guaranteed after an order has entered the fulfillment process.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. An order confirmation will be sent to the email address entered at checkout. Please review it promptly and contact us if any information is incorrect.
Shipping and Delivery
Where do you ship?
The 5Ws Store currently ships to eligible addresses within the United States.
Shipping availability: The Writer’s UnBlock™ plush cube is temporarily unavailable for delivery to Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and Ohio. We’re working to make it available in these states. The digital Printable Activity Pack remains available throughout the U.S. Contact us for an availability update.
Available services and any location-specific charges will be shown at checkout.
How much does shipping cost?
For standard online purchases, the shipping charge is displayed at checkout based on the order and available delivery options.
For approved retailer (B2B) orders, shipping is quoted after order review and added to the final invoice before payment. The temporary $0.01 shipping amount shown at B2B checkout is only a placeholder, not the final shipping charge.
Applicable taxes are calculated separately.
When will my order ship?
Available products are processed according to the timeframe shown on the product page or in the Shipping Policy.
Bulk orders may follow different timelines. Any estimated date is subject to inventory, carrier, weather, and other circumstances outside our control.
Will tracking be provided?
When tracking is available, it will be sent to the email address associated with the order after fulfillment.
Carrier updates may take time to appear after a shipping label is created.
What if my package is delayed?
Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed. If tracking has not updated or your package appears significantly delayed, contact us with your order number so we can review the available information.
Returns and Order Problems
Can I return The Writer’s UnBlock™?
Eligible plush products may be returned within 14 calendar days after delivery.
The product must be unused, undamaged, and returned in the condition required by our Return and Refund Policy. Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?
Contact us promptly with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and packaging.
We will review the information and provide the appropriate next steps.
Are original shipping charges refundable?
Original shipping charges generally are not refundable unless required by law or the return results from our error. Please review the Return and Refund Policy for complete terms.
Digital Products
Can digital products be returned?
Digital products are generally final sale and non-refundable after delivery or access has been provided, except where required by law or when we are unable to remedy a verified technical-access problem.
How may I use a printable?
Unless a product listing states otherwise, purchased printables are intended for personal or household use or for use in one classroom by the purchasing educator.
They may not be resold, redistributed, shared publicly, or reproduced for broader organizational or commercial use without written permission.
Product-specific license terms govern each digital purchase.
Bulk and Wholesale Orders
Can I order more than 8 Writer’s UnBlocks™?
Yes. Standard online checkout is available for up to eight (8) Writer’s UnBlocks™.
For larger quantities, please use our Bulk & Wholesale Information page and Bulk Order Inquiry form so we can confirm availability, packaging, shipping, pricing, and delivery timing.
Do you offer bulk pricing for schools, classrooms, organizations, and other end users?
Yes. For qualifying non-resale purchases of The Writer’s UnBlock™, our current bulk pricing is:
9–15 cubes: $23.99 each
16–23 cubes: $23.49 each
24–47 cubes: $22.99 each
48 or more: custom quote
Shipping is quoted separately. Bulk pricing is intended for purchasers using the products themselves rather than reselling them.
Do you offer retailer or resale pricing?
Yes. Approved retailers and resellers use a separate private retailer program with different pricing, quantity requirements, and terms.
If you are purchasing for resale, please indicate that in your Bulk Order Inquiry so we can review retailer eligibility, pricing, shipping, and applicable resale documentation.
Do you accept tax-exempt or resale purchases?
